Oh, good old journal. How I've missed you..

Basically I just wanted to say a few things. It won't take long.

I planned on drawing a picture of me saying sorry to some of you guys because I really am.. But the eyes kept on turning out all like wings and.. It sucked.

I'm sorry because I feel as if I've ditched some of the people I care most about, which essentially I have. There are some old friends I hardly keep in contact with any more and there are some new ones too. It's really difficult to say that I still care when I'm not providing the actions to back that up, but I guess that's what I'm trying to do right now with this.

The bottom line is I'm dealing with some life changing opportunities right now. For the first time in so many years I'm actually pushing for something I want. I'm about to attempt to get totally thrown off of my normal trajectory in life and end up on a brand new path leading into the unknown. Sure, it's scary and I'm sure it's full of surprises (and not the good kind). Overall, if I don't get working on this now I'll always wonder what life would have been like if I had taken this gigantic leap. I want this.

I don't know when I'll be around much on dA again. I mean, I'll always be here. I'll always check messages. But you won't really see me.

However, I'm on skype most of the time. If I don't reply I probably just forgot to set myself as away or something.

One last thing.. I know some of the people who I care about are going through an especially tough time right now. I honestly wish you all the best of luck in the world.

Well, all that good/bad stuff is over and done with. Hope it went well for everyone.

Also, thanks for the birthday wishes and all. Oh, and thanks for making me remember I'm now older than ever. I felt so old on my birthday I actually put on a shirt and tie and felt pretty casual in it. That just isn't right at all..

She's the best thing to come out of Austin since Katy

Well, all of a sudden I've gained some creativity and my procrastination monster has hit the road. I'm writing short stories and drawing weird little things. I even did some abstract stuff. The best thing is I really don't mind if nobody sees it which is actually an awesome feeling for me. It means I've got no pressure on me for it to be good and no stress about what other people will think. I'm doing it for me and it feels fine.

I also started writing a history of a fictional region in a fictional world. Sounds nerdy, right? But it's pretty cool in my book. Drawing fictional maps is good too. I think I might write a story around this world one day. Go all Tolkien on yo asses.

Also, I now have Fable II, Soul Calibur IV, Farcry 2, Gears of War, Gears of War 2 and Left 4 Dead. All awesome.. Except for Farcry 2.. :[
